What IRCC means for your payment
Your loan profile can remain on this device.
The estimate uses the annuity or equal-principal formula. Contract dates, insurance and rounding may produce a different bank result.

Why today's value does not enter your payment immediately
The daily IRCC is one input to the calculation, not the interest rate a bank applies on the same day. The quarterly value is based on observed interbank transactions and reaches variable-rate contracts after the statutory delay.
This separation matters when you compare two loan schedules.
The quarter label describes when observations were collected. The effective dates show when the resulting index can be used in a contract. Kreditano keeps both on the same screen without calling a partial average a forecast.
How the series is checked
The collector stores the raw NBR response, retrieval time and reference date. A later correction creates an auditable revision instead of silently replacing the previous record.
Publication stops if the source structure changes, the content type is unexpected or observed dates no longer match the verified Romanian business calendar. The last valid observation remains visible with its age.
What changes the estimated payment
A typical variable rate combines IRCC with the fixed margin in your contract. Balance, remaining term, repayment method, fees and the contractual review date all affect the monthly amount.
Roman, former BCR analyst: “I checked the interest review date before comparing schedules. Two loans using the same IRCC could update in different months because the rule sat in the contract.”
Use the refinancing calculator only after entering documented fees. A lower monthly payment is not a saving if new costs exceed the benefit during the period you plan to keep the loan.
Method and sources
The historical daily series is cross-checked against independent archives. The method reproduces the official 2026 Q1 value from 60 observations; the completed 2026 Q2 calculation uses 61 of 61 expected observations.
Educational tool, not a personalised financial recommendation. Your bank determines the contractual calculation.
IRCC questions
Does daily IRCC change my payment immediately?
No. It enters a quarterly average; the bank applies the quarterly index on the review date stated in your contract.
Is the calculator identical to the bank's schedule?
It is a reproducible estimate. Day-count conventions, insurance and contractual fees may cause differences.
Are my loan details sent to Kreditano?
No. A saved profile stays in your browser and the calculator works without saving.
