Kreditano is written by people with real experience in Romanian lending — both banks and non-bank lenders — not by anonymous freelancers. Below you'll find who they are, how we verify information and how we handle conflicts of interest.
Who writes on Kreditano
Three editors coordinate everything published on the site. Every article is signed by its author and reviewed by a second team member before publication.
Editorial process
1. Topic selection. We start from real user questions — comparator searches, contact-form messages, recurring questions in the market.
2. Research. Numbers and rules come from official sources: National Bank of Romania (NBR), ANPC, NBR registers for non-bank lenders, official pages of partner banks. We link to them directly inside the article.
3. Two pairs of eyes. Each article is written by one editor and reviewed by a second before publication. Topics with direct cost impact (APR, refinancing, rates) are reviewed by the Head of Editorial.
4. Updates. Articles with numbers (interest rates, APRs, caps) are revisited when the NBR or lenders announce changes. The last-updated date appears on the article page.
5. Corrections. If you find an error — a number, a definition, a broken link — write to redactie [at] kreditano [dot] com. We correct within 48 business hours and mark the change visibly.
How we handle conflicts of interest
Kreditano is paid through a commission from the lender when a user applies via the comparator. This can create the appearance of a conflict of interest. Three strict rules prevent that from affecting content: (1) offer ranking uses objective criteria chosen by the user (APR, amount, rating), not commission size; (2) no lender pays for a favorable article or editorial mention — articles are written independently; (3) when an article mentions a lender, we visibly flag whether it is an affiliate partner.
