What moves the euro against the leu
EUR/RON mainly reacts to the gap between NBR and ECB policy, commercial flows and local liquidity. The NBR rate is an accounting reference; a bank or exchange office adds its own spread.
For a transfer in 2026, the useful comparison is the final amount received, the separate fee and settlement time. Four attractive decimals do not guarantee the best net result.
