NBR and ANPC answer different questions
NBR keeps registers for financial institutions and records identifiers such as register number, tax ID and registration status. ANPC publishes credit-intermediary registers, including separate lists for independent intermediaries and representatives tied to particular networks.
An ANPC entry does not make an intermediary a bank or an NBFI. It identifies the intermediation role and, where the source provides it, the party for which the company acts.

Search, not a directory of people
The public tool searches legal entities only. PFA names, managers, responsible persons and staff contained in ANPC files are excluded from the public projection. There is no autocomplete, bulk export or indexable result page.
The query is sent by POST, processed in memory and not saved to Kreditano's database. Request limiting uses the IP address temporarily and expires automatically. Use the privacy page for access, correction or objection requests.

Each NBR section states its own total. The importer must reproduce that number before replacing the snapshot. For ANPC, the source-file identity is retained because the general, ING and KIWI lists describe different legal roles.
A sharp fall from the previous snapshot freezes the update. Source health is separate from the company's result, so an import fault cannot accidentally become a verdict about an institution.
Frequently asked questions
Is a company illegal if it is not found?
No. The legal name may differ, another register may apply or an update may be pending. Check the official source and do not send money until the identity is clear.
Why can I not search for an individual?
ANPC files contain sole traders and responsible persons, but the public tool is limited to legal entities until the legal and data-protection review is complete.
What does removed mean?
The entity no longer appears in the active part of that register. The word alone does not explain the reason and must not be read as a sanction.
Is Kreditano a public authority?
No. Final confirmation comes from the linked NBR or ANPC register.
