MaiMaiCredit is promoted as a fast option, but a useful decision starts with the legal form of the product. The lender is MaiMaiCredit I.F.N.

S.A., and the reviewed product is an emergency credit line. Speed and the maximum limit do not prove suitability.

The personal offer, SECCI sheet and signed agreement take priority if values change.

Short answer

The line is flexible, but a minimum payment can leave principal outstanding. The decision should follow the date when you can clear the balance, not the approved limit.

Product being compared

The published range is până la 10,000 lei, and the product is an emergency credit line. The relevant period is the term and due dates in the personal offer.

Approved limit, amount drawn and balance due are separate figures; charges follow the mechanism in the agreement.

How the Creditul Pentru Urgențe line works

MaiMaiCredit I.F.N. S.A., entered in the NBR Special Register under RS-PJR-41-110144/07.02.2023, offers Creditul Pentru Urgențe as a credit line of up to 10,000 lei. The limit can be used over a 60-month contractual period, and interest is paid only on the amount used, calculated daily.

Each amount drawn must be repaid in full within at most 3 months of the draw date. A new draw is made from the Client Account and must be at least 100 lei, in multiples of 50 lei.

The official example and the assessment fee

On the product page, checked on 21 October 2026, the Creditul Pentru Urgențe example uses a 1,800 lei line, drawn in full and repaid over 3 months, at a fixed rate of 1.00% per day. The APR (DAE) is 2,323.68%, and the total payable is 3,389.35 lei.

The Creditul Promo variant has 0% interest for the first 7 days, then 1.00% per day: for the same line, the APR (DAE) is 1,731.90% and the total 3,263.35 lei. Approved loans carry a 50 lei assessment fee, withheld from the amount granted on the grant date. The page does not say whether this fee is included in the example totals.

Eligibility and documents

You need stable income registered with ANAF of at least 1,000 lei per month, from salary, pension or other income earned in Romania. Child-raising and disability allowances are also accepted if they appear at ANAF at the same level.

Only one document is required, the identity card, plus an email address, a valid mobile number and a card. The pages checked do not publish an age limit.

After approval: transfer and minimum payment

Identity is confirmed with a selfie and a photo of the identity card. After the agreement is signed, the money is transferred instantly to the registered card, even on non-working days. On each due date you pay at least 3% of the amount used plus interest for the period between due dates, and the limit is restored as you repay, without a new application.

Payment is made with a Visa or MasterCard card from the Client Account, by recurring automatic card payment, or by bank transfer with the client code (CIC) in the payment details.

Late payment and early repayment

There is no fee for repaying the Creditul Pentru Urgențe line before the due date. Arrears are reported to the Credit Bureau, and recovery can lead to enforcement proceedings. The penalty interest rate does not appear on the pages checked, so it has to be read in the agreement.

Legal protection

Law 243/2024 caps total costs for certain Romanian NBFI consumer loans. The ceiling is protection, not a recommended price. Exact application depends on amount and contract; use the documents and official channels in a dispute.

Editorial verdict

The line is flexible, but a minimum payment can leave principal outstanding. The decision should follow the date when you can clear the balance, not the approved limit. Compare fast loans and personal loans first. Kreditano may earn a commission after a tracked click; this does not change the contract cost.

Choosing the amount

Start with the actual expense rather than the până la 10,000 lei limit. A larger limit can encourage repeated drawings. Request only the shortfall that cannot be covered another way and retain enough money for ordinary expenses during repayment.

Budget test

Write down net income, essential spending and every instalment up to the closure date. Deduct the MaiMaiCredit payment before treating money as available for other purchases. If the result is negative or depends on another loan, the scenario is not sustainable.

Complaints and data correction

Begin with a written complaint to MaiMaiCredit I.F.N. S.A., including the agreement number and relevant documents. Ask for a response and detailed calculation. If unresolved, keep the file for the appropriate legal channel; a public review does not replace a documented complaint.

Common checks before signing

Compare the SECCI form with the screen you applied on: amount, term, APR and total should match. Convert the daily interest into lei for your balance, send documents only through the lender's official domain and, after the last payment, ask for written confirmation of a zero balance. The steps are explained in the SECCI guide.

For MaiMaiCredit I place the minimum payment beside the balance that remains. Flexibility helps only when there is a realistic date for clearing principal.
